How to Apply to St. Gabriel (TK-8)

Application Process:

    • TK & Kindergarten Eligibility
      • Kindergarten
        • Children must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025 to enter kindergarten.
      • Transitional Kindergarten
        • Due to the limited number of spaces we have to offer, we are only accepting TK applications from children born between September 2 - December 31, 2020. 
        • We may have additional openings in TK. If your child was born on or after January 1, 2021, and you would like to be notified of openings, please fill out this form for an opportunity to apply.
    • Complete your application and submit $75 application fee along with required documentation:
      • Birth Certificate (child must be 5 by September 1, 2025 to enter Kindergarten; child must be 4 by September 1, 2025 to enter TK)
      • Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic)
      • TK & K: Preschool Teacher Assessment of Student Readiness form
      • Grades 1 - 8: Recent report card & standardized test results
    • Applications for 2025-2026 academic year available online on October 16, 2024:
      • Kindergarten Priority application deadline is December 6, 2024
      • Grades 1-8 Priority application deadline is January 17, 2025
      • Enrollment is first come-first served, so all are encouraged to apply by the above deadlines
  3. Meet our teachers
    • Your child will be scheduled for a screen/test date.
      • Emails will be sent approximately two weeks before scheduled date.
      • Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten screening begins in January 2025.
    • Test date for grades 1-8 is February 3, 2025. All screening/testing is by appointment only.
    • Shadow Day for accepted 3-8th graders is February 19, 2025 from 8am-12pm.
  4. Enroll
    • Acceptance letters are emailed about one week after your child’s screening/testing date.
    • Upon receiving a letter of acceptance, submit registration forms and fees.
      • Spots guaranteed for approximately 1 week (TK & K) and approximately 1 week (grades 1-8).
      • If registration is not received by the stated deadline, your child is not guaranteed admission.
