A Message from our Parent Board Chair
Dear St. Gabriel Families and Friends,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! My name is Emily Yee, and I am excited and honored to serve as the Chair of the St. Gabriel Parent Organization (SGPO) this year. On behalf of the SGPO Board, I want to give a special welcome to all of our new families. We are looking forward to a great year and to seeing everyone at the many events and activities planned throughout the school year.
We are very fortunate to have such wonderful teachers, staff, and administrators who work hard every day to support our children and make St. Gabriel such a special place. We are also so grateful to all of our families for the many ways you support our school and our community. Whether you volunteer your time, attend an event, help with a fundraiser, or simply lend a hand when needed, it all makes a difference.
The Parent Organization’s primary objective is to promote and create events that bring the community together and raise funds to support the school. The Parent Organization plans and organizes all school fundraisers.These events promote community building and raise meaningful funds to support school initiatives, computer labs, school grounds, equipment, and many other improvements that offer our children a high quality education in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our events really depend on our volunteers, and every little bit helps. Whether you can give an hour, take on a bigger role, help behind the scenes, or pitch in when you can, it all adds up. It truly takes everyone working together to make our events successful, and every contribution is appreciated. If you would like to get involved, have an idea, or aren't sure where you can help, please reach out to me or any member of the SGPO Board. We are always happy to help you find a way to participate.
I feel very fortunate to be part of the St. Gabriel community and am grateful for all that this school provides for our children and families. I look forward to working with all of you and making 2026–2027 a fun, successful, and memorable year for our school.
